He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidore Gerstein and Gertrude Cohen Gerstein; and his sisters, Judith Kaden and Eileen Previll. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Klein of Accord, NY; his stepdaughters, Jeanne Uldrich (Bill) of Windham, NY and Brianne Valerio of Accord, NY; his brother Stuart Gerstein (Lori) of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Juliannah and Nathan Uldrich; and his nieces and nephews, Julie Gerstein (Evan Widhu), Melissa Gerstein (Malinda Rathnayake), Michael Gerstein and Jeffery Kaden.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Drive, Kingston, NY.
