He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luigi Lommori and Marianna Lommori; his wife Clarice; his children, Michael Lommori (Vicki) and Shelly Kindness (Jim); his grandchildren, Alexx Seipp (Rob), Kaylee Hancock (Micah), Camryn, Quinn, Aidan O'Neil, Bailey and Courtney Kindness; his great grandchildren, Carter and McKinley Seipp; his sisters, Jeanette Cunningham and Nancy Koehler; and his sister-in-law Bessie Lommori. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

The family is also suggesting that donations can be made in Mike's name to the Yerington High School Athletic Program.

“Dear Clarice & family, Due to circumstances, Linda and I were unable to attend Mike's services. We are with you in spirit and are sorry for your loss. Our time in Yerington was wonderful because of Mike Lommori and others like him. One day he took me for a tour of his valley. It is a rare thing for a Football/ Wrestling Coach and a Basketball Coach to be friends but we were. Our sons, Wesley, Stephen, Michael & Jason benefited from his teaching and send their sympathies.
