He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pinkerton and Goldie Pinkerton; his brothers, Albert and Louis; and his daughter-in-law Denisa Pinkerton.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Matheus; his children, Robert (Anne) of Denver, Dennis (Melanie) of Yerington, David (Deborah) of Philadelphia and Lori of Reno; and his siblings, John (Mary Jo) and Goldie (Fred). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
