It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolanda Calderon Alcaraz of Winnemucca, Nevada, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Alcaraz and Maria Cardenas. She is survived by: her husband Gerardo Calderon; her daughters, Yolanda Gardner and Belen Moran; her grandchildren, Araceli Galarza, Alexis Galarza, Julissa Moran, Julian Moran and Jayvian Moran; and her siblings, Victor, Santiago Alcaraz, Estela Neri, Eva Alcaraz, Teofilo, Fermin, Arturo Alcaraz, Elisa and Bertha Alcaraz.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sonoma Funeral Home (47 W 1st St, Winnemucca, NV 89445). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (350 Melarkey St, Winnemucca, NV 89445). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Winnemucca Cemetery (1811 W Winnemucca Blvd, Winnemucca, NV 89445).
