He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ernest Elmer Meek; his wife Vivian Meek; his children, R. Daniel Meek, Rosaland N. Meek and Jeff Willis; his grandchildren, Austin Meek, Savannah Meek, Kaia Langlois, Ryan Langlois, Emma Willis and Sean Willis; his mother Rosetta Ruth Rutherford; his stepfather Alvin F. Rutherford; his grandparents, Martin, Sylvia Shafer, Noble and Rosie Meek; and his sister Gloria "DeeDee" Dean Fox.
