He is survived by: his children, Michael Meckley (Jessica), Kylee Nelson (Jimmy) and Lyndsee Jimenez (Tony); his grandchildren, Jaden, Byron Jimenez, Heath Meckley, Sebastian Meckley, Leigha Meckley and Taylor Jimenez; his mother-in-law Lonetta Breshears; his siblings, Novella Yancey (Jim), Loretta Blacksmith (Roy), Shirley Dawson and Walter Meckley (Charlotte); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Meckley; his stepfather James Tedrick (Jim); and his brother Bob Meckley.
