With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Lynn Sweeney (Winnemucca, Nevada), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Smith and Dorothea Smith; her stepson Paul Sweeney; and her grandson Tyson Edgar. She is survived by: her husband Gary Sweeney; her children, Jeremy Edgar (Shannon), Jacob Edgar (Ashley) and Jillian Edgar; her stepdaughter Nicole Sweeney; her grandchildren, Brandon, Ryder, Brodie, Delanee, Halle, Saylor, Pacey and Andrea; and her siblings, Jerry Smith (Jane) and Mike Smith. She is also survived by her family and friends.
