He was predeceased by: his parents, James H Bower and Kathryne P. Bower; his former wife Patricia S. Bower; his brother James Hamner Bower III; and his daughter Mary Jeanne Nöllsch.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Jonathan and Sarahlynn Jeanne (Hawaii); his wife Dawn; his grandchildren, Jon Bower (California), Miranda Schober (Matt) and Dana Kathryn O'Connell (Kai); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Annamarie, Landon and Zachary; and his brother George Llewellyn Bower.
