He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Zeb and Mearl Ethel Mowers Capell; and his siblings, Thomas Capell, Ruby Smith and Rhoda Hopkins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Abe Capell, Wanda Hirschi, Nita Harwood, Arthur Capell, Lewis Capell and Edith Brunson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
