He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mentaberrry and Damiana Goitiandia Mentaberrry; and his siblings, John Mentaberry (Angela), Mary Yrueta (John), Annie Bengoa (Frank), Fausto Mentaberry (Joyce), Henry Mentaberry (Barbara), Dolores Jones (Albert), George Mentaberry and David Mentaberry.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; and his sons, Tony (Sandralene) of Paradise Valley and Daniel of Winnemucca. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
