He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hemmert and Betty Hemmert; and his daughter Penny. He is survived by: his wife Helen Freeman; his brothers, Tracy (Rita), Roger (Darla) and Russ (Tammy); his children, Sonja (John), Kurt (Stacy), Greg (Kim), Anthony (Emily) and Tiffany (Miranda); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Natalie, Erin, Casey, Kendra, Isaac, Remi, Emerson, Jane and Joseph.
Dennis Alan Hemmert died on August 8, 2020, in Spanish Fork, Utah, as a result of Parkinson's Disease.
