He was predeceased by: his son Vance Kirk Palmer; and his parents, L. E. Palmer and Katherine Palmer (June). He is survived by: his pet Hades; his daughter Chasity McFarlen of Fernley; his granddaughter Rebecca Leah; his daughter Melissa Bays (Jason) of Placerville, CA; his grandchildren, Daemon and Rian; and his siblings, Nancy Clark (Mike) of Wellington, Katherine Allen of Lenoir, NC and Lynn Palmer (Brenda) of Rogers City, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge | Northern California & Nevada.
