He is survived by: his mother Ruth; his siblings, Dan, Linda and Dave; and his children, Christopher, Derek, Brandon and Kara.

He worked over the years to plant trees along the Sparks Blvd corridor, and helped with the donation and planning of Teglia's Paradise Park.
