He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Christensen and John Christensen; and his son Richard II. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Jeanne, Lynda and John; and his stepsons, Jeff and Ron. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
