Horlacher (Sparks, Nevada), born in Ely, Nevada, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred C. Horlacher and Anna Irene Rassmussen; his brothers, Paul and David; his mother-in-law Jacqueline Joy Hughes; his children, Karen, Fred, Kristin, Neal, Megan and Michele; his mother-in-law Kathryn Jenkins; and his children, David, Anne, Ron, Larry and Beth Jenkins. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and other family members.
The following year he was named Nevada Teacher of the Year, and received the National Milken Foundation Teacher award.
