He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Dewitt and Irma Carlton Simmons; his former wife Ethel Patricia Van Norden; his wife Leia Marie Hills; his children, Reed Simmons (Mary), Cheryl Simmons, Teiya Gleason (Shane) and Tio Simmons (Wendy); his grandsons, Jed, Chad Horan, Devin and Brooks Gleason; his mother-in-law Doryce Hills; his siblings-in-law, Gray, Leighton Hills and Blair Hills; and his sister Carolyn Heller. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
