William Allen Behymer Obituary
William Allen Behymer, "Bill" of Reno, Nevada, passed away on September 16, 2022 at 84 years old. He went peacefully, at home, with his family by his side. Bill was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined the Navy at 18. He cooked for all the Ship's company during his service. He moved to Reno in the 80s where he raised his daughter as a single father and worked as a cook at The Little Nugget and created his famous version of The Awful Awful Burger. He loved his family, dogs, fishing (especially on a boat called The Bass Tub in San Francisco) football, poker with his friends at the Senior Center, a good laugh, and delicious food. He was a kind and wonderful man that did everything in his power to take care of his family and friends. He touched so many lives just by being himself. He cherished spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, grandson, nephews & great nephews, nieces and great nieces. His two sweet dogs brought him such happiness in his final year of life. They absolutely adored him.
Bill leaves behind his daughter Brooke Watson, son-in-law Carl Watson, grandson Jacob Behymer, nephews Scott Estes and Jeff Frye, great nephews Brandon Estes & Chris Hornsby, nieces Sharon Sellars, Glenice Sells, Gwen Dean and Debbie Mcguire, great nieces Stevie Frolich & Kelly Mcguire and his doggies Onyx & Daisy.
He is preceded in death by his parents Allen and Helen Behymer, sisters Bonnie Reeves and Bette Frye and nephew Steve Hornsby.
Bill is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
