He was predeceased by: his parents, Leigh Sheppard and Sylvia Sheppard (Walter); and his siblings, Margaret Crane and Dale Sheppard. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Harrold (Pat) of Pomerene, AZ; his stepchildren, Gina Ryan (Todd Welty) of Reno and Mark Carns of Gig Harbor, WA; his grandchildren, Aaron Ryan of Concord, CA and Katie Ryan (Kelsey) of Missoula, MT; his friend Carrie Bono of Truckee, CA.; and his caregiver Jamie.
