He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Zuniga and Nober Zuniga; and his siblings, Nelson, Norvall Zuniga, Velma Melendez and Velda Lowery.
He is survived by: his wife Rebekah; his sons, Nathan, Daniel and Stephen (Rebecca); his granddaughter Alison Snow (Mother Kayla); and his siblings, Mildred Pikyavit, Nola Zuniga of Utah, Eunice Ohte of Moapa, NV, Vicki Moore of Sparks, NV, Virginia Howard of Owyhee, NV, Patti Bennett of Woodsford, CA, Verna Melendez of Sparks, NV, Norman Zuniga of Reno, NV and Nolan Zuniga of Cedar City, UT.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
He started working for the tribe in 1991 as the HV Water Utility Manager and the RSIC Emergency Manager when he helped the Tribe through covid epemdic, From 1995 - 2011, he was a RSIC Tribal Council Member and a RSIC Vice Chairman from 2010 - 2011.
He would always volunteer when the opportunity arose, such as donating a kidney to his little sister, helping build the Four Winds Park, and with community clean up day.
