She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Soma. She is survived by: her brother Jiro Saito (Ann) of San Jose, CA; her daughters, Lisa Soma of Reno and Robin Soma-Dudley of Annapolis, MD; her goddaughter Julia Shields (Sam) of Sandpoint, ID; and her grandchildren, Betsy Dudley of Washington, DC and Kevin Dudley of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
