It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Brent Smith (Reno, Nevada), born in Boise, Idaho, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Macum Smith and Anna Kathryn Collins (Kitty); and his sister Linda Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his daughter Katie Waite (Nathan); his grandchildren, Michael (Morgan) and Sara; his son Nathan Smith (Missy); his grandchildren, Dylan, Isabelle and Hudson; his sisters, Adaire Diamond and Shannon McKinley (Scott); and his nieces, Julie Harrington and Amy Wolfsen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada or the Humane Society of Northern Nevada.
