He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Fitts of Dalton, GA; his aunt Sandy Oetjen; and his grandparents, Bill, Adelma Hiett and Fred Fitts.
He is survived by: his mother Roberta Duskin of Reno; his sister Molly Barrow; his grandmother Wanda Fitts; and his aunts and uncles, Ray Hiett, Charles Fitts, Fred Fitts, William Fitts, Nancy Roget, Pam Fitts and Kristi Fitts.
While at UNR, Kyle volunteered for the Comstock Foundation-an organization dedicated to restoration of the Donovan Mill in Silver City.
