He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Louise Phillips and Carl Raymond Waugh, Sr.; his siblings, Carla Ray, Violet May Clark, Lucille Pearl Drone (Robert), Carl Raymond Jr., Gwendolyn Sue Niblock (David), Magdolyn Elizabeth Grassi (Robert) and James Trenton III (Kathy); his wife Phyllis Jensen Soto; his children, Rebecca Gashi (Tommy), Darcy Lynn, Sarah Lee Jones (Brian), Kathlyn Louise and John Trotter, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tyrese L'Don Puckett, Tyree Lavell Puckett, Antwun Latrell Puckett, Aaliyah LaNae Puckett, Zoe Jane Gashi, Mandee Tuttle (Anthony), Justin Arevalo, Dillon Jones, Smokeyy Jones, George Ourjanian, Shawn Munez, Gabriel Waugh, Chen Waugh of California and Dylan Chen Waugh; and his great grandchildren, Dexter Tuttle and Isaac Tuttle.
