He was predeceased by: his daughters, Stephanie and Heather. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Arielle Richardson (Trevor Curry), James Richardson Jr. (Shade Richardson), Hope Dimmick (Michael Dimmick), Jaclyn Richardson (Bradley Vanschoonhoven) and Dylan Richardson (Leisa Alibudbud); and his grandchildren, Jaxon, Emerson Richardson, Olivia and Harlee Dimmick.

Where, for the last 20 years, he spent his summer volunteering with The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation's Camp Cartwheel.
