She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward McLellan and Dorothy McLellan (Russell); her siblings, Dorothy Norregaard (George), Edward "Sonny" McLellan, Eleanor "Ellie" McCormack (Bill), Carol Poplin (Lloyd) of Arlington, VA and Robert "Bobby" McLellan (Marge) of Tybee Island, SC.; her husband John "Jack" Roberts; her sons, John (Erin) of Hubbardston, MA and Michael (Kristina) of Dorchester, MA; her grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Olivia, Jack, Michael and Sarah; her daughter Amy Rowan (Daniel) of Reno, NV; and her grandchildren, Madisen, Aidan and Holden.
She was known and loved by faculty, administrators, and students alike and was granted the prestigious John D. O'Bryant Award for her contributions to the African American community at Northeastern.
