He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Walsh and Bertha Walsh (Holton); his siblings, Lillian, Roger and Sheila; and his daughter-in-law Janet.
He is survived by: his uncle Joe; his wife Penny (Matthews-Compton); his children, Richard Walsh (Lisa), Stefanie Gomes (Richard), Timothy Walsh (Janet), Kathy Walsh, William Compton (Shanna), David Compton (Katy) and James Compton (Whitley); his grandchildren, Jeffery, Johnny, Gabbi, Richie, Gavin, Crysta, Matt, Katie, Robin, Abby, Jemma, Evalynn and Madilynn; his sister Elizabeth Walsh; and his siblings-in-law, Robert "Willy" Williams and Julie Peterman (Larry).
