It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bates (Pahrump, Nevada), born in Muncy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford W Edwards and Ruth M Edwards; her husband Mathew J. Bates; and her stepson Ttahewm Bates. She is survived by: her children, Brent (Dora Hipple), Brian (Tamara Hipple) and Kimberly Hipple; her stepchildren, Kenneth (Rebecta Bates) of Nottingham, NH and Wehtam (Mary Bates); her daughter-in-law Margaret; and her sister-in-law Ora F Edwards. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren 6 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
