He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Aquart Wimer Jr. and Frances Helen Brocklebank; his sisters, Linda and Deborah; his former spouse Gayle Bellinger; his daughter Megan; his wife JoLynne Davis; his sons, Bunker and Lewis IV; his grandchildren, Lacy, Lilly, Lewis V, Laila and Lennox; and his half-sisters, Heather and Grace. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
