He was predeceased by: his parents, Tiburcio Prieto and Isabel Salazar; and his wife Janie Prieto. He is survived by: his children, Amado "Magito" Prieto Jr., Candelaria "Penny" Maldanado (Daniel), Clementine Naughton (William) and Tina Ratliff (Leland); his sisters, Sofia Zubia, Natalia Loya and Gloria Prieto; and also, Daniel and Sandra. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren.
