We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2024, at the age of 90, James R. Welsh (North Las Vegas, Nevada) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Welsh and Ruby Welsh; his wife Adelaide Kraft (Addie); and his son Steven. He is survived by: his children, David Welsh (Beverly), Michael Welsh (Margie), Mark Welsh (Ferdouse) and Carrie Jenkins (Kelly); his granddaughters, Alison Hadley (Danny), Samantha Karcher (Nick), Emily Behm (Casey) and Colleen Baird (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Kate, Ellie, Charlotte and Harrison.
Never one to be defeated by circumstance, during the isolation of the COVID pandemic he taught himself to sew and then proceeded to make over 500 blankets for children who were victims of domestic violence.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley in James Welsh's name.
