He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonides Anchondo and Delfina Anchondo; his wife María Esther Ortiz; his sons, Jose and Oscar Jr. Anchondo; and his siblings, Hilberto Anchondo, Sylvia Anchondo, Carmen Anchondo and Anna Cardenas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonia Rocha-Palos (Salvador) of Albuquerque, NM, Sylvia Fierro (Adrian) of Midland, TX, Alicia Ramos (Eric), Delfina Anchondo of Madison, WI and Monica Anchondo of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Destiny, Adrian, Emilio, Bryan, Faith and Juliana; his great grandchild Bentley; and his siblings, Rojelio (Elizabeth) of Las Vegas, NV, Alma Anchondo of Chihuahua, Mexico, Alvardo Anchondo of Las Vegas, NV, Lupe Anchondo of Chihuahua, Mexico and Lila Anchondo of Chihuahua, Mexico. He is also survived by his family and friends.
