He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sterling Cooley and Olive Bessie Cooley; and his wife Betty Rae Painter. He is survived by: his children, William Cooley (Jan), Sharon George (Bruce), Cathy Frandsen (Lynn) and Teresa Allred (Dave); his great grandchild Ethel Taylor; and his sister Avis Graham. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren.
