He was predeceased by: his parents, Petros Mamalis and Elaine Kaninis; and his siblings, George Mamalis and Mary Mamalis. He is survived by: his former wife Shelia Masters; his significant other Barbara Dudley of Mesquite; his children, Sam Mamalis Jr. (Tani) of Green River, Michael McIzzie (Colleen) of Rock Springs, Catheryne Mamalis of Pinedale and Rebecca Patton (Rob) of St. George; his sisters, Pauline, Liberty, Vaselie and Sandra; and his grandchildren, Christopher Harris, Valerie Wheeler, Nick Mamalis, Samantha Potter, Sharli Johnson, Ezekiel Mamalis and Chezney Mamalis. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
