He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hanson and Leonda Hanson; his wife Lois; and his siblings, Bill Hanson and Betty Joe Van Linden.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Whitney; his children, Holly Canfield Metz (Mike Lacroix), Bobbie Duel (Dave), Jimmy Hanson (Sheri) and Marty Hanson; his grandchildren, Sarah Doerfler, Kristine Kirchner, Brittany Benslimane, Tyler Metz, Alex Metz, Corie Bowden, Richard Saloga and Cody Bowden; his brother Gary Hanson; his sister-in-law Elaine Marietta (Fred); his nephew Rex Hanson; his godsons, Jamie Ungaro and John Robert Ungaro; his friend Amy L Shaw; and also Marty. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
