He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton John and Noma Reber Houston of Mesquite, NV.; his friend Donny Barrett; his daughters, Ronda Houston-Torbic, Sidnee Houston Angell and Sunee Houston; his grandchildren, Gunnar, Raven, Rylee and Samantha; his great grandchild Milo; his siblings, Emmalyn Hardy of Syracuse, KS, Janece Gardner of Pine Valley, UT, Deral Houston (Julie) of Scenic, AZ and Dorene Copley of Overton, NV; and his brothers-in-law, Lynn Gardner and Kevin Calkins.

Due to the Covid 19 outbreak the family is planning a graveside service at a later date.
