He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blang and Alice Wincher Blang; his brothers, Dick, Jim and Jerry Blang; his parents-in-law, Clem and Molly Peters (Mary Catherine); his brother-in-law John Peters; and his great grandchild Oaklie Hyde.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Peters; his children, Teresa Oakes (Todd) and Mike Blang (Kris); and his grandchildren, Josh, Andrew, Tyson, Zack Hyde, Brandi Johnson (Andrew) and Channing Stapley (Shane).
