She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Carwin Phibbs and Clara Dee Phibbs; her brother Ray Gary Phibbs; and her husband Gayle Carlisle Knight. She is survived by: her children, Scott Connole (Mary), Marie Corlin (Greg), Christopher Connole and Michael Connole; and her sister Clara Dee Ek. She is also survived by Friends and family.

She was particularly happy with her garden that was maintained by The Green Urban Lunchbox who donated the food she grew to local shelters.
