He is survived by: his parents, Gilbert Travis and Cleone Brockbank; his spouse Jewel Rose Rees; his child Gilbert; his grandchildren, Anthony Thomas Travis, Pamela Annette Marquez and Judy Rose Griffin; and his nephew Tom. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; his younger brother.
