He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard Hamilton and Phyllis June Durrant. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie; his stepchildren, Laurie Anne Henderson, Jody Lynn Ekstrom (Rod) of Francis, UT, James Gabriel Henderson, III (Deidre) of Spanish Fork, UT and Angela Dawn Henderson; and his mother-in-law Sherrie. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
