He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Gruenig and Elizabeth Anne Mahaney Gruenig; his daughter Kelly; and his son-in-law Mario Guerra. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ruth Hanson (Weaver); his children, Keith (Sandra) of Rapid City, Kim Guerra of Rapid City and Kelene Zamora of Rapid City; his stepchildren, Bart Weaver (Carol), Debbie Thompson (Link) of Gordon, Nebraska and Shelley Weaver of Sturgis; and his sister Myrna Johnson (Frank) of Bovey. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
