Allen Gitlin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Gitlin of Mesquite, Nevada, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda and Isidore; his siblings, Dorie Ben, Rose Scher and Jack Gitlin; his sisters-in-law, Judy Gitlin and Virginia Jinette; and his son-in-law Bruce Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Gitlin; his sister Elaine Beatrice Gitlin of Florida; his daughter Hilda Gitlin Cooper; his son-in-law Gregory Barber; his daughter Elyse Gitlin Pimsler; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Juliana Cooper) and Leigh Pimsler (Zach Marzouk); his great grandchild Sloan Marzouk; his stepchildren, Audrey, Tim, Lorraine and Robert; his stepgrandchildren, Olivia, Nathaniel, Henry and Isaiah; his nephews, Eric Gitlin (Alison Gitlin) and Eliot Scher (Ginny Munoz); and his niece Susan Gitlin Burkhoff (Jeff Burkoff).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus, New (150 Rte 4, Paramus, NJ 07652). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Beth Israel Cemetery.
