It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Roger Cooper of McGill, Nevada, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Cooper and Rosella Cooper (Turner) of McGill; his wife Vonda Cooper; and his siblings, Valene Laird and Bert Cooper.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Cooper (Connie) and Shawn Cooper; and his grandson Connor Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, the family is in the process of establishing a Gordon Cooper Scholarship Fund at Rifle High School.
