She is survived by: her spouse Van Cannon Gardner; her children, Garr David Gardner, Rhoda Godfrey (Jay), Jeff and Doreen Larsen (Denny); her grandchildren, Joni Hooley (John), Rocky Bybee (Jared), Lamar Gardner (Amber), Michelle Lane (Mark), Sydney Van Ausdal (Jason), Sam Matheson (Jessica), Ben Matheson (Vicki), Jack Matheson, Betsy Matheson and Luke Matheson; her sister Dawn Whipple (JL); and her sister-in-law Joan Gardner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
