He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Ellis and Tebbs Hatch; his son Ryan Harold; and his siblings, Wendell, Lyle, Norma and Carvel.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Hammond; his sons, Jason and Justin; and his siblings, Mark, Mamie, Claude and Lida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
