He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Anita (Margaret); his friend Diane Johnson; his parents, Jacy Carl Milton and Marie Antoinette Anderson (Anderson); his siblings, Rose Antoinette Milton, Janice A. Milton-Dearing, Berryman, Vernard and Steven Milton; his daughter Roxanne J. Milton; his siblings, Ava Joyce, Carol Sue Milton, Kenneth, Alleton (Crockett), Tim and Derwin Milton; and his grandchildren, Kenneth A. Burke II and Celeste L. Hankins. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
