It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria L. Mason (Las Vegas, Nevada), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Gloria departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gloria. Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Robert Todd Mason; and her parents, Dorothy Cook Hasell and Oliver A. Hasell. She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Mason of New Orleans; her sisters, Doris L. Wise and Olivia A. Bereal; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald G. Wise Sr. and Joseph Patin Sr.. She is also survived by 6 nephews, 1 niece, and their respective spouses, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park (1401 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146). A repast will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 9500 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117. A burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (620 Central Ave, Newark, NJ 07107).
