He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Sproul and Laura Sproul; his wife Karen; his siblings, Inise Spendlove (Howard), Andrew Sproul, John Sproul (Josephine) and Lawrence Sproul; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Leon Stewart and James Blackwell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn Jeanette Stewart, Irene Blackwell, Rebecca Patrick (Doug) and Charles Sproul (Ruth); his sisters-in-law, Janice Sproul and Vonell Sproul; and his children, Maria Swanson (Thomas), David Sproul (Christine), John Sproul (Tamara) and Sherry Sproul. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
