With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chern Thomas (Las Vegas, Nevada), born in New York, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Annie D. Thomas (Burrows); his sister Claire Thomas-Mitchill; his father Dewey Herbert Thomas; and his daughters, Renee Thomas-Perkins (Edward) and Celina Thomas-Nelson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jean Thomas, Veronica Burrows and Marilyn Anne Thomas-Stevenson; his child Chern Eugene Thomas Jr.; his wife Bettye; his children, Michael Pettiford and Sharon Nicholas (Luther); his grandchildren, Renee Bradley Jinks, Nicde Ali, Angela Perkins, Tanya Perkins, Cursena Kirkland (Kyle), Morrell Nicholas and Tyree Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Asia Jinks, Jenardre Ali, Nailal Jinks, Najee Jinks, Faith Ali, Ava Nicholas and Marlowe Auslander; and his sisters, Clair Mitchlll and Consuello Timberlake. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park (6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119).
