He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Scott and J'Rutha Scott (Cook); his children, Pamela Scott and Kevin Scott; and his siblings, Betty Scott and Robby Woods.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Douglas (Andrew), Melanie Scott (Creighton Goins) and Kelly Ivy (Michael Greene); his grandchildren, Tyler Jeffries, Devonte Douglas, Tiarra Hamilton, Taia Elliott, Makenna Anthony, Melissa Scott, Daisha Jefferson (Nytiana), Cameron Scott, Jamie Kitchen, Christian Banks, Lia Baldwin and Tevin Scott; and his siblings, Glenda Black, Fredna Weenes (Deroy), Judy Forrest, Barbara Jones (Daniel), Marilyn Scott and Jim McClain. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
