Ben Silas III Obituary
Ben Silas ||| was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on December 29, 1969 to Beverly Carol and Ben Silas Jr. Ben was the second eldest of six children, Barbara, Larry , Michelle, Jennifer, and David. Graduated from Rich Central campus High School, soon later embarking in life and had his first of 10 children in 1991 later Marrying Dishawn Batts in 1998 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
Later they relocated California, New Jersey, and ended their relocations in Nevada where they stopped having kids. Children Shauntay, Stacy, Daesha, Trevon, Destiny, Benzo, Dianne, Najee, Sean and the youngest Angela. Ben had 4 grandchildren Milo, Daniel, Malachi, and Gregory Jr.
Ben continued to reside in Las Vegas, Nevada after divorce in 2015. Ben was very passionate about his cars in particularly to his 1986 Buick Grand National one of many collectible cars he owned over the years, when he was younger enjoyed street racing and playing basketball. Ben continued his love of cars over a 25+ years experience as a mechanic .
Sharing this love with his children. Ben believed in family values spending time with his children as a DJ in his spare time and just getting fresh air out and about. As of March 14, 2024 he will truly be missed.
He was very private, a man of no malice who showed love to others in many different ways for years to come in remembrance. We love you and will miss you. You were called home a bit early than any of us may have ever wanted, but we’re glad for you to enjoy paradise for now on.
